IT fulfilment in Nigeria, for platforms that have nobody here

You sell laptops-as-a-service, or you employ people through an employer of record, and a customer has just hired four people in Lagos. Somebody has to buy the machines, enrol them, put them in the right hands, and eventually get them back. In Nigeria, that somebody is us.

What an in-country fulfilment partner is for

Global equipment platforms and employers of record are excellent at the contract, the payroll and the customer relationship. What they cannot do from Amsterdam or New York is take delivery of a MacBook in Abuja, enrol it in the right mobile device management tenant, hand it to a person in Surulere and photograph them signing for it.

That is a local operation with a warehouse, a bench and staff, and it is the part of the promise that is hardest to keep at a distance. GreyFusion is that operation for Nigeria: one partner, one contract, one record, covering the whole loop rather than one leg of it.

  • Procurement — through Apple’s authorised distribution, not the grey market
  • Verification — the serial or IMEI placed in your Apple Business Manager
  • Enrolment — assigned to your MDM by Automated Device Enrollment, before dispatch
  • Configuration — the pre-deployment build, done here rather than by the employee
  • Delivery — last mile to the person, with the hand-over photographed
  • Retrieval — collected at offboarding, booked in against the same serial
  • Wipe — erased to NIST SP 800-88, locks cleared, certificate issued
  • Repair or refurbish — quoted to you, and nothing spent until you answer
  • Redeploy — graded, warehoused per 30 days, and back out to the next hire

How the commercial arrangement works

Business to business, and the end user is never part of it. GreyFusion contracts with the platform or the employer, invoices the platform, and the employee is never asked to pay, deposit or claim anything — which matters, because the moment an employee is asked for money the whole arrangement stops feeling like a benefit and starts feeling like a liability.

The end client on record — the company the employee actually works for — is named on every device so reporting can be sliced by them, and is never billed.

One record, both directions

The device that goes out and the device that comes back are the same row. Its chain of custody runs forwards through procurement, enrolment and delivery, and then backwards through collection, erasure and grading, without anybody re-keying a serial number in between.

That is not a filing convenience. It is what lets you answer, two years later, who had a particular machine, what was done to it, when it was wiped and by whom — from one place, rather than from three systems that disagree.

What you see

A portal showing every device you own, its current status, its condition and its documents. It shows what was done and never what it cost GreyFusion to do it — our cost of service delivery is not something a client is shown, in either direction.

Questions we get asked

What is IT fulfilment?
Getting the right device, configured and enrolled, into the hands of the right person — and handling everything around it: sourcing, delivery, support, recovery when they leave, and disposal at end of life.
We are an equipment platform. Can you act as our Nigeria operation?
Yes. That is the arrangement GreyFusion is built for: one partner contract, devices handled locally by people who are actually here, and reporting sliced by the end client so your customer sees their own fleet.
Do you handle both Apple and Windows devices?
Yes. The process is the same; the enrolment path differs — Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment for Apple hardware, Windows Autopilot and the vendor channel for Windows.
Is the employee ever charged for anything?
No. The arrangement is business to business. The employee is never asked for a payment, a deposit or a claim.
